Holiday Pay
As a Halpin Staffing Services associate, you can take holidays off AND still earn money. Paid holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. There are a few regulations though. You must log 960 hours in the 26 weeks preceding the holiday and work your scheduled shifts before/after your day off.
Vacation Pay
Any associates who put in over 32 hours per week are eligible for up to 40 hours of paid vacation time. Once again, there are a few regulations. Specifically, you must work 1,920 consecutive hours in a calendar year without a 30-day interruption.
401(k) Plan
At Halpin, we’ll assist with your retirement planning too. Associates who have been with the company for at least one year and completed 1,000 hours of service can participate in Halpin’s 401(k) plan. A 401(k) allows you to automatically invest a portion of your wages into long-term retirement savings. Plus, you don’t have to pay taxes on this money until you take it out of the fund.
Health Insurance
As with vacation pay and retirement plans, long-term associates also qualify for health insurance. Talk to your associate manager to learn more out more about eligibility and coverage options.
